Funsraising Campaign discussed the mechanics of the campaign which raises funds to advance research and provide free cancer patient services here in Los Angeles. Daffodils, the flower that symbolizes hope to those who are battling the disease. She explained that the American Cancer Society is one of the few charities that operates at 8% administrative costs, so about 92% of our donations go directly to fight the disease. She also talked about their programs that encourage men to reach out to other men to get tested and how the ability to stay positive can have a profound impact on patient recovery.
