Guest: Kate McGlaughlin, author, Mommy, I’m Still In Here One Families Journey with Bipolar Disorder , discussed her and shared the challenges of parenting two children with Bipolar Disorder, She detailed the physical realities and the battered emotions they experience while caught in the storm of hallucinations, psychosis, mania, and suicide attempts. The book and its author offer hope and encouragement to anyone living with chronic illness or raising teens. She covered the symptoms of the disorder, and described the usual victims.
