Guest: Kate McGlaughlin, author, Mommy, I’m Still In Here One Families Journey with Bipolar Disorder , discussed her and shared the challenges of parenting two children with Bipolar Disorder, She detailed the physical realities and the battered emotions they experience while caught in the storm of hallucinations, psychosis, mania, and suicide attempts. The book and its author offer hope and encouragement to anyone living with chronic illness or raising teens. She covered the symptoms of the disorder, and described the usual victims.

Guest: Neil Morrison, City Career Fair, discussed the upcoming 2008 “Annual Diversity Employment Day Career Fair” for the County of Los Angeles. This mega Job fair and Exposition will feature over fifteen hundred career positions from 40 major employers. The event is designed to celebrate and emphasize diversity in employment and attract job seekers from minority communities as well as women, GLBSTG and the Handicapable.
